Question 1

How to apply for Master and PhD?

          

Applicant can start to apply via online at IGS website HERE

*complete all the online application

 

For LOCAL applicant:

1. All applicants must buy BITARA ID RM26 at any BSN branch

2. One BITARA ID only valid for 1 year (within the year only)

3. BITARA ID is a processing fees for local applicant

 

 

For INTERNATIONAL applicant:

 

In order to complete the application process, these are the documents you have to upload in the online application and click Submit :

 

1.  A scanned copy of original passport sized photo

2.  A scanned copy of original passport (front page - with picture and details)

3.  A scanned copy of original first/ second-degree transcript

4.  A scanned copy first/ second-degree scroll/ confirmation letter on completion of study

5.  A scanned copy of IELTS (Min. Band 6) or TOEFL (Min. 550)

          -  Special requirement needed for those who apply for TESL and English Literature.

        -  If graduated from Malaysian local universities, please attached Medium of Instruction Letter from previous university.             All candidates who are sending Medium of instruction Letter are compulsory to sit English Placement Test (EPT)                    AND English Language Proficiency Course (ELPC)

        -  For programme with special requirement (T & C apply)

  6.  A scan copy research proposal (for Master Mode Research and Ph.D. Program only)

  7.  A scan copy of original letter of scholarships/ funding,

  8.  AND scan copy of the receipt for the processing fee. As per below details:

For Local applicant:

•  Candidates will get the offer a month before the registration day.

 

For International applicant:

• You may receive your Conditional Offer Letter within 5 working days for PhD & Master Mode Research and 3 working days for Master by Mix Mode & Coursework after we process your documents.

Can I get the offer letter earlier?

 

YES, with below condition:

            

For local applicant:

• You are scholarship rewarded

• You may sent an official letter to request at Dean, IGS

 

For International applicant:

• YES. Terms and condition apply

When can I get the offer letter?
